Outdoor Billboard Design, Supply, and Installation
Design and supply a 6 m (w) x 3.4 m (h) steel frame billboard with support poles, corrosion protection, foundations, design of billboard artwork based on Client brief including layout and pre-existing text, printing and mounting of artwork, transport, delivery, and on-site installation, handover with photographs, and a minimum 12-months defect warranty.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid CIDB Registration or equivalent
- At least three (3) relevant references for billboard/signage installations in the last 36 months
- Method statement (fabrication, transport, installation, health & safety)
- Samples of previous billboard installations including technical drawings and dimensions
- In-house or subcontracted graphic design capability for billboard artwork
Evaluation Criteria:
Price (40%); Technical capability & relevant experience (30%); B-BBEE/SED & local empowerment (20%); Delivery period (10%). Smart Villages SA reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any quotation.

Topographic Survey & Pegging — Qokolweni Smart Village
SVSA invites qualified, registered land survey firms to quote for Phase 1 — Detailed Topographic Survey (~153 ha): GNSS + drone/LiDAR capture of existing services and natural features; establishment of benchmarks; drafting of accurate survey drawings. Phase 2 — Subdivision & Pegging: Preparation of a small-scale diagram of farm Qokolweni and pegging of 146 residential sites, including establishment of concrete benchmarks. Deliverables must meet TMH 11 standards.

- Survey report and drawings (CAD + PDF) for 153 ha
- Small-scale diagram (Farm Qokolweni)
- Pegged sites (146) with coordinates and as-built peg register
- Benchmark schedule and coordinate list
Minimum Requirements:
- Company profile, CIPC & professional registrations (PLS/geomatics)
- Relevant experience and three references (rural/communal context advantageous)
- Detailed methodology (GNSS + drone/LiDAR workflow, QC, benchmarks, TMH 11 compliance)
- Itemised pricing aligned to scope (survey area, benchmarks, drafting, pegging, SG fees)
- All outputs must comply with applicable South African land surveying standards and TMH 11
